AnyPLACE Demos Installed in Homes in Germany and Portugal
The live testing of the AnyPLACE solution is in progress, with systems installed and connected for testing. Dörentrup in Germany is the primary test bed.
Now in the final stages of testing, the finished solution and reults of the trial will be presented at a live event on May 16th 2018 in Dörentrup.

The project achievements of Regulatory and Physical Contexts, Public Engagement and Environmental and Societal Impacts and Public Engagement and Environmental and Societal Impacts were discussed along with the methodology to tackle the AnyPLACE Solution, and identification of high level requirements for AnyPLACE.
1st Technical Meeting

The definition of the AnyPLACE solution was discussed from a technical point of view. A strategy for identifying requirements was defined and prototyping solutions were introduced. A more detailed identification of requirements was defined that would allow the recovery of the project delay in the design phase. Preparation of pilot activities were discussed. Dörentrup was the elected city.

An overview of the work carried out so far, and the current status of the AnyPLACE Solution. Discussion on the technical implementation of the AnyPLACE Platform and preparation for the pilot in Dörentrup. 2nd Technical Meeting
06-07-04.2016 Innovation Centre, Dörentrup, Lippe, Germany
A meeting to finalise the detailed technical design of the AnyPLACE solution in advance of testing to be carried out by TU Wien, followed by the roll out to the utility and end users in Dörentrup. Specifications and costs of components, software and hardware were introduced both for the prototype and a potential industrialisation of the AnyPLACE platform. The importance of developing an adaptable solution to be applicable to different regulatory contexts was highlighted.
3rd Technical Meeting

Focussing on the final preparations for ther Field Trials, the consortium discussed the preliminary results from the surveys and home visits and engagement with the Utility and the participants. technical discussions covered the installation of electricity submetering, Service Oriented Architecture, how the flow of information works, communication between the different parts of AnyPLACE, Security and Privacy in Communications, the User Interface, and communication technologies . A mockup demonstration of the user interface was presented by Bosch.

All Dörentruper households and businesses (3,500 letters) received an invitation from Mayor Friedrich Ehlert, to participate the field trials. 115 premises were surveyed in detail and 15 representative locations selected for the trial.
